How to Verify Authenticity

Football Cult doesn't sell directly — we redirect you to the real store to complete your purchase there. That means the authenticity of what you buy depends on the store, not on us — but we can help you spot real signals before you decide.

'Authentic' and 'replica' aren't the same thing

'Authentic' (or 'match') is the version with the technology and cut players actually wear on the pitch, officially licensed by the club or federation. 'Replica' is the fan version — also officially licensed in the vast majority of cases, but cut and made for everyday wear, not playing. Neither one is a counterfeit — they're two different official products at different prices.

Signs something isn't what it claims to be

A price well below every other offer for the same product, generic photos that don't match the real crest/sponsor, no size chart of its own, or a store domain you don't recognize and can't find anywhere else — these are the most common signs of an unreliable seller. Always buy through the link that takes you directly to the store, and never share your payment details anywhere else.

How we flag it on the site

When we identify that a specific offer comes from a store that exclusively sells unofficial replicas, we mark that offer with a 'Replica (unofficial)' label directly on it — so you know before you click, not after.

If what you receive doesn't match what you saw on Football Cult, the claim goes directly to the store where you bought it — we don't process payments or shipping. You can use the 'Report product' button on any listing to let us know something doesn't match, so we can look into it.
